REAPER Script · Capture
Recall
Rolling capture for REAPER. Keep the moments you didn't remember to record.
Also available as part of the Temper Bundle.

How it works
The best sounds happen before you remember to hit record. Recall listens in the background so you can play freely, then pull the moments that mattered straight into your session.
Always listening
No arming, no routing, no preparation. A JSFX on the master captures whatever you hear, the moment you hear it. Open Recall and it is already working.
Sections mark themselves
Recall watches for silence and draws cue markers between each hit as you play. Double-click between two markers to select a section. The markers travel with the take when you drag it into the arrange view.
Drag it home
Drop the selection onto any track in the arrange view as a media item. No dialogs, no naming flow, no format choice. The take lands where you put it.
Yours to shape
Hold up to two minutes of audio across as many as sixteen channels. Mono, stereo, surround, immersive. Recall adapts to the session, not the other way around.
How it works
Open Recall. The capture engine installs itself into the master chain.
Work. Improvise, patch, resample. Recall holds the last stretch of everything you heard.
Hear something worth saving. Select it on the waveform and drag it into the arrange view.
